If we believe and accept that education is a formative process by which we prepare children to face life as it comes, then we have to seriously look into the whole existential educational scenario of the country. It is disheartening to see that schools have become educational shops.
The higher the fees better the education seems to be the slogan of the day. Subject-oriented approaches have taken precedence over student-oriented approach in almost all schools. I firmly believe that schools like Angel's Hub can make a difference by imparting value-based education which promotes life and upholds human dignity. It is not going to be as easy as it has been in the past. It will continue to be a challenge to all of us.
Nelson Mandela once said Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world and it still rings so true for our time and generation. With ever-increasing uncertainty of what the future holds in terms of career and employment opportunities, it has indeed become necessary to educate a child not only in what we know but equip him/her with the necessary skills for acquiring knowledge for the future.
I wish and pray that the students of Angel's Hub imbibe some of the basic human values such as love, compassion, hope, peace and faith through the curricular and co-curricular activities of the school and thus become Heralds of Good News in the world. May the Author of Life continue to accompany us in our life journey and help us in all our deliberations during this academic year. Let each student of ours become socially conscious, intellectually competent, culturally relevant, morally upright, religiously vibrant, emotionally balanced, personally loving and lovable.
Best wishes for an enriching and fruitful new academic year!
